A Spec in Time Series

Happy New Year! 

We made it. I made it. It is winter and all is crazy, but now at least the holiday season is over. I have been very busy throughout this month. I’m very relieved and happy to say that book two – The Domes, is done. It is formatted, it is uploaded and the artwork will be finished shortly. You will see it on Patreon first. Planning on the world seeing it only when the book is released.

There was some struggle with the layout, but not as much as I was afraid of. It only took 2 days total of work on it. Last time it took 2 days for the E-version and 4 days for the print version. Hopefully, the proof copy will show up quickly, although I feel good about what I have seen in the PDFs. 

Now, I wait. Think about what I can do to advertise (both of the books) more. I have also spent the last week going through The Harvesters again – just cleaning it up, only a year old and version 2 or 3 who knows. I’m sure there is a way to do this but I’m winging it. I plan on looking into possibly releasing it on the prime-read thing. I don’t know how much it will help but it seems now that there is book two it might not be a bad idea. 

Weather and music helped me get through it. Lazlo gave me plenty of breaks, wanting in and out, and out and in. Why are pets always on the wrong side of the door? Winter is dreary, not too cold but it is the other side of solstice and the dark is starting to shroud my little nook of the world. It always is a comforting time for me, except for the mud. 

In the winter I like to write more. More and more gets put into the document for Inception every couple of days. The earth starts to be reformed by the Terraformers, and the F&G will be faced with challenges and consequences. There is much to be explored in their new home. The little humans will learn. The scientist will learn. Spec will learn. We will all learn from the past and present so that humanity may move forward. Spec and her siblings will continue to hold their heads, looking for a place of quiet within each of them. Sometimes peace can only happen with words. The word is: Look for the release notice of The Domes very soon.

Final note: Mr Putin: You can have a cease-fire, you can have peace. You have always been able to, at any point in these last 2 years. There is no need for talks. All you must do is pull your troops out of Ukraine. It is very simple. They would like you to leave their country if you didn’t know. Slava Urkraini
