Last post of the year is for everyone. I was accused of being too upbeat in my previous post. I apologize for this. I will now do my utmost to correct that error. Hey, and I just learned today that the word is not upmost. Wisconsin accent be damned.

It is cold and dreary. I don’t like it. There are not enough hand warmers in my house. Why is it that many of us like the smell of a dying tree in our house this time of year? Wouldn’t we instead burn a dead tree? I am having technical problems with electronics. My switch, my most significant source of tension relief, refuses to find a DNS. Yes, I do know what that means. And, Lazlo is barking too much.

I have finished the most recent edits on the short story Sitting Room. I used the ‘Read it to you’ button in Word. I have never really hit that button before. It is halted and has no affliction. It took all I had not to cry, but I did. It was helpful. Now, I will have it looked at by a few peeps to see what they say. I will then post it in totality on my Patreon account for members to read. Join now! I do my best to add extra things to the members page, including, but not limited to, funny things and photos of Lazlo (and who doesn’t want to see him?). I also add comments and extra content from many of my characters, for fun. They have so much to say.

As I rework the edits on both The Harvesters and The Domes, I look forward to the input from the team of freaks and geeks. Not only the one I have created, but all of you. I’ll need to have some creativity during the drudgery and tears of editing.

BIG ALSO: I’m trying to learn how to get a book into an audiobook (Audible) format. What, or whom, do I use? Are there good ones out there? If we are talking about AI, what programs are the best? Who does someone like the Substack users use? I could message them, but that is scary. I’m not quite to that point yet, but I want to be ready for it. I want to use Sitting Room as the tester for this as well. Again, I will put that on my Patreon for my members to listen to, and hopefully, they will be able to download it as well.
